Health Programs with Partnerships:
- Kanaka Bar is in partnership with several other communities in a successful application for a Nurse Practitioner in the area and will receive services at the band level at least one day a week.
- We have a contract with Seabird Health to deliver the Home and Community Care Nurse (HCN) component of the program. In which the HCN visits our community the first Friday of every month. Appointments are booked through the Health Officer or the Community Wellness Worker.
- Collaboration with the” monthly health theme” determined by the Regional health professionals monthly meetings.
- Nzenman Child and Family Development Center Society. Partnership between Kanaka Bar Indian Band in delivering:
